This spacious double storey home was created for a couple of first time young investors on a narrow block in the inner city.
The tight building budget was a priority so a standard design from the DesignBuild portfolio was selected to save on design fees. Minor adjustments were made to comply with regulations relating to the demolition control precinct in which the home located.
DesignBuild created an open plan design on a neutral palette of crisp white against a rich timber staircase. Free flowing spaces gives the home a surprising feeling of spaciousness.
Clever design meant that an additional sitting room could be incorporated and high end finishes and upgraded entertainer's kitchen were added to appeal to a more discerning buyer.
The home was sold as soon as it went to market with a healthy return to the investor clients.
